Ron Bousted - RIP

Ron was a stalwart member of the club, in latter years he was to be found at most SPOCO events on a Sunday morning, helping with pushing off or timekeeping.

Tragically, Ron was killed whilst out cycling on his bike, early on the morning of 24 November 2015, aged 74, on his way home from the pool. Swimming was his passion, and he swam every day.

On our first event in 2016, on 17 April, we held a minute's silence in memory of Ron, allocating him rider Nr. 1's slot.
