Spring almost arrived, for our 2nd SPOCO event, on Sunday 13 March. The sun was out from time to time and temperatures were into double figures. Riders from 5 local clubs were competing ...
21 riders took part over the 11.3 mile course. Conditions were dry and warm at 10 Deg. C, with a light south-westerly breeze.
Speeds were noticeably higher than last week.
Well done to Mark Cook for another fine win, and to Emma Weisblatt for winning the handicap event.
It was also encouraging to welcome two junior competitors, Connor Delaney and Adam Moore, well done lads, let's see you back competing again!
We did get a word of complaint from Terry Sykes, muttering something about there being too many younger people (oh yeah, you sure?) competing and he felt a little isolated.
So a call goes out to all our more 'experienced' TTers, please make a showing in the coming weeks to keep Terry happy!
