A rider from A5 Rangers crosses the line in a 2008 Beds Road Open Event.
On Sunday 18th July the Club is hosting the NMHA 100 mile Open Time Trial - we run an event for this association every 5 years - it is anticipated that there will be 80 riders in this national BBAR event. David Sullivan is the Organiser of this TT to be held on the A1 from Tempsford village hall, and the provisional start time for the first rider is 5:31. As you know these events do not run themselves and so David will be looking for volunteers. Helping is easy and instruction can be given, jobs include: placing and collecting the warning signs, maintaining the results board, number takers at 50 mile check and 100 mile finish,
cafe staff, and don't forget the role of the Marshal! Remember that you can provide a family member or friend to do this for you, or indeed the warning signs role will not interfere in your competing in the event.
If you can spare some time then please give David a call on 01234 870 620. All those that volunteer and help on the day will be entered in the end of year draw for an indoor sky diving lesson at Bodyflight in Clapham.
