Ed competing in the Evening League a few days before the Primavera - one lap is just a warm up...
On Sunday Beds Road's hard men were in action at the Ashwell Primavera, a 57 mile road race that involves 5 laps of the 11.3 mile tt course around Cardington and Old Warden. Our red, black and white was easily identifiable in the field, and while all riders gave a good account of themselves a special note must be made of young Ed Watkiss who was the overall race winner. Ed's gathering of points earns him immediate promotion to 3rd category rider. Congratulations to Ed. See the results of the top ten riders.
