Members present at the clubhouse on Friday 11 December witnessed an historic event - Dave Crane proudly took delivery of his new Trek road bike, his first new bike since 1983. Up till now Dave has been a loyal user of his Rennolds 531 Mercian custom, complete with toestraps and downtube-lever shifters - a sixteenth birthday present. That is all set to change...
Sporting STI shifters and Look clipless pedals, the performance-sculpted Trek is expected to help Dave achieve even more records this coming season, following his all time PB on the F1 10 mile course earlier this year.
