There has been discussion on the forum about necessity of mudguards on rides, we felt it was time to
clarify the Club's position, so read on to find out where we stand.
'Club rides are designed to embrace all abilities,
especially newcomers, and for this reason we do not impose a ruling on fitment
of mudguards. However the benefits of mudguards are clear, and etiquette
prevails, those without mudguards should ride towards the back of the group.'
The benefits of
full mudguards are clear to all, and for those of you without adequate
clearance on your frame and without the funds to buy a new frame, then
race blades can be purchased.
