Now as we turn to winter training and thinking of 2010; its time to look back at 2009 and plan ahead as a Club. So we hold our Annual General Meeting – the most important annual get-together of the club. There are 204 Beds Road members out there now, a club record in living memory - and some of those are long!
We need you ALL to come to the clubhouse for a 90 minute informative session; we’ll review our successes in 2009, be updated on the club finances, but most importantly we will elect a new committee to steer the club in 2010. You’ll have a chance to speak up, cast your vote, contribute or just listen.
The AGM follows a fixed agenda: if you want any items raised, you must advise me in writing no later than 14 days in advance of the AGM (by Friday 6th November). A final agenda for the AGM will be available 7 days in advance of the meeting. There will be no AOB or new items raised on the night.
We WON’T run over 90 minutes and we WILL be in the Kings Arms in Cardington by 21:05. when the Club is buying the first drink for everyone who attends. There will also be a raffle on the night for club kit for all those who attend.
Every year we struggle to get a good turnout for this despite its huge importance to you and the Club. So make an effort, there’s a free drink and maybe some club kit in it too.
