On Sunday 27th September Angus Hudson raced for the second time, his first venture to the tough Hoggs Hill circuit. Competing in the George Drewell Memorial race he struggled on the hillier course against a group of local riders who knew exactly when to make the right gear changes. Unfortunately he came home last, he worked hard throughout and once again thoroughly enjoyed it.On Saturday 3rd October Beds Road CC junior James Hall competed in the Festival of Racing for Cycling Nuts, hosted by Festival RC at Hillingdon. Another large field was the order of the day, with the racing under way James found himself in a tough battle in the fiercely contested under 8's category. After 20 minutes of furious racing he had to be content with a 5th place just missing out on the points.
