Friday 18th September saw the Club hold its End of Season Party and Presentation of Evening League Awards. The Clubhouse swelled with 70 people tucking into a feast comprising of: BBQ, salad, cheese and biscuits, cake, and fruit - oh and some had brought there own tipple too.
At 9pm the Club Chairman brought the hall to order and began the presentation of Evening League Awards. Certificates were given to all riders who had ridden the ten qualifying events for the BAR, and medals were awarded to all who had completed all fourteen events. Awards were then given to all riders who placed in the four categories of the two competitions held this year.

In addition prizes were awarded for fancy dress to: James Hall, Clare Simon, and Emma Weisblatt.
Following this the 2009 Harry Huckle Award was announced for former Club Chairman and regular Evening League Marshal: David Sullivan. This was awarded in recognition of his performance in the Slowest 90 25 mile tt held on April 19th - Harry would have been very satisfied with this award.
The Vuelta TT Lottery was shuffled on the screen and all who had invested in a ticket got to see who they had drawn for the following afternoon's TT. To see which riders you were allocated, after our computer did 100 random shuffles of the tickets, you will need to download the print out and zoom in on your name. The winner on the Saturday was David Millar, meaning that ticket #39 Fabio Van Paris won the lottery. Dad Rocky advises that Fabio is planning to spend his £50 winnings on a computer game.See photographs of the night.
